How Dev Technosys Built Its Own AI-Powered Customer Support Assistant to Replace Third-Party Tools

Overview of the Project

In order to replace conventional online contact forms with intelligent chats, Dev Technosys has created an AI-powered pre-sales assistant. The bot responds to queries and inquiries and gathers visitors' contact information, eliminating the need to fill out long forms. The goal is to provide answers in a natural human tone.

The solution is powered by Anthropic Claude, offering sales-oriented conversations and adjusting to visitors’ situations. It automatically adjusts budget, timeline, and sentiment, leading to a natural interaction. The bot operates around the clock in approximately 70 countries.

In contrast to Zendesk, Dev Technosys AI Pre-Sales Assistant is designed beyond ticketing and agent workflows. The bot supports complexity-based model routing to comprehend visitors’ intent, score leads, and provide next sales steps.

Additionally, the technology is easily accessible on a mobile device and web portal to streamline conversations without interruption. Our AI chatbot development company built the complete ecosystem, including the backend, real-time communication layer, AI integration, and admin console.

Challenges

• The automated tone is solved by removing em-dashes, using strict reply-length limits, and a typing indicator timed proportionally to reply length.
• Cost is managed by building a complexity classifier that assigns a score between 0 and 10 and routes it to the cheapest model that can handle it.
• A seamless human takeover is a limitation without displaying a queue message, banner, or a visible break.
• Strict JSON assessment is forced to turn transcripts into a sales pipeline by generating a lead score from 0 to 100 with a budget, timeline, and next action.
• The challenge of multi-client real-time sync is solved by using socket.io. With this, the widget, web console, and mobile app stay consistent for a live chat.
